Illthy Toonz

the strobe tuner that refuses to twitch

A smooth strobe tuner with a needle on a spring: it knows the difference between you turning a peg (tracks live) and a string just ringing (sits dead-still, magnetic zero inside ±1.5 cents). Short-window fast on every string — 7-string and drop tunings included.

Zero latency, pure pass-through — your signal is untouched. The same tuner brain that lives in NoAMP.

Illthy Toonz — the five-band strobe LCD, note readout, cents needle and control knobs
Reading the strobe — ten seconds

1. Play one string and let it ring.

2. Bars scroll one way = sharp, the other = flat. Finer bands up top read finer error.

3. Tune until the bars stand still and the hub glows — the needle centres and locks. Done.

Response is a feel knob (twitchy ↔ calm), A4 goes 415–466, Transpose covers capos. Full reference on the Toonz manual page.
