VST3 modulein the NoAMP zip
A looper that works like a guitar pedal looper — four switches, made for feet, happy with your MIDI stomp hardware. In NoAMP it records the ENTIRE board post-master: change presets or knobs while a loop plays and the loop keeps its sound; only your live playing takes the new one.
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| WRITE | Tap 1 records · tap 2 closes the loop (plays immediately) · tap 3 overdubs · tap 4 queues the dub's end — with Dub = Loop Top it keeps recording TO THE LOOP END and closes exactly at the wrap, so layers always fit (no timing skill needed; tap again before the end to keep dubbing; Dub = Instant punches out at the tap). Hold a dub PAST the end and the loop MULTIPLIES (2x/3x/4x the original length). |
| PLAY | Play / stop. |
| UNDO | Cancel a take · scrap a dub · toggle the last layer · resurrect a cleared loop. |
| CLEAR | Wipe (stop first; UNDO resurrects until you record again). |
Free acts on the press. Sync quantizes taps to the grid — in the standalone the grid runs at the global BPM, in a DAW it follows the transport. The deck lives OUTSIDE the preset system: recalls never touch a playing loop.
Bind all four switches via right-click MIDI Learn — one press = one action, momentary or latching footswitches both behave. If your USB stomp device goes silent until replugged, see tips (Windows USB sleep).
| Engine | tap-defined loop length, unlimited overdub passes, multiply extension, quantized punch-out, layer undo |
| Placement | very last in the NoAMP chain (records everything), or anywhere you like as its own VST3 |
